"Shannon and Maria Begeman return to Dayton - 2003"

At the end of August, we moved back to the Dayton area and are now living in a city called
Oakwood, which is known for its historic buildings, including the home of Orville Wright.  He lived
in this home on Hawthorn Hill (just minutes from our house) from 1914 until his death in 1948.
Shannon is studying in a Masters of Systems Engineering Program at the Air Force Institute
of Technology, and Maria is teaching English as a Second Language at Wright State University.
Our new house is only four minutes from the home we lived in from 1998-2002.
   Here are some photos :

This is the front of our house.  We have big trees both in the front and the back yards.

We live on a street lined with trees.  This is a view of the street when standing in front of our house.

Here is a view looking down the sidewalk.

This is our dining room.  The door to the left goes to the kitchen.  The door straight
ahead  leads into the screened-in porch which leads out to the backyard.

View of the kitchen.  We did some remodeling in here, including putting in a new countertop,
sink, ceramic tile floor and the backsplash.  We also removed the wallpaper and painted the walls.

View from the kitchen into the screened-in porch.  This window opens up, so you can
pass food from the kitchen into the porch.
