Brent Lindskov, 6'O" senior (26 ppg.-l4rpg.), has great instincts and always gives a total effort. Brent, who averaged nearly 25 ppg. as a sophomore, is a talented player who ranks with the best in the state. Jeremy Hollow, 6'2" junior (22.2 ppg.-8rpg.), is a physical player who improved greatly over the course of last season. Hollow can score from anywhere and works well with Lindskov to give Isabel a prolific one-two punch. |
Christian
Begeman, 6'3" junior (15 ppg.-l0rpg.), gained valuable experience during
a very productive sophomore season. Begeman will be a key man on the inside
for the Wildcats. Chopper Ley, 5'll" sophomore (2.5 ppg.-2rpg.); Kendall
Bock, 5'lO" sophomore; and Nick McDonald, 6'1" junior, will compete for
the two open-ings in the starting lineup. Jamie Mur-ray, 5'6" freshman,
is a newcomer who could play a spot role as he adjusts to "A" ball.
Isabel has a serious numbers problem with only 27 students in high school. A lack of depth could cause big problems if the Wildcats lose any of their key peo-ple. This team has a lot of talent, however, and they will have a legitimate shot in their district and region. This will be the best chance Isabel has ever had to qualify for state tournament play. If you recall the story, however, no one expected Cinderella to go to the ball, but the slipper fit! |
